The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is Hiring a Front Office Receptionist Near Hagerstown, MD

The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for greeting, scheduling appointments and maintaining records and account in a Healthcare Management System.
This includes, but not limited to:
  • Verifies patient information and accurately updates demographics and insurance information. Confirms purpose of visit obtains reports or x-rays performed at other facilities.
  • Prepares patient encounters for future appointments and obtains all necessary medical documentation that is needed for the patient's visit.
  • Schedules future appointments for patients.
  • Collects co-payments and balances on patient's accounts.
  • Represents the practice in a professional, customer-focused manner with an emphasis on service excellence.
Some related experience in an orthopedic/medical setting helpful but not required.
